Pusher Killed In Action " Top Drug Personality" In Paniqui, Tarlac
ADVERTISEMENT
HE IS READY TO KILL
By: Central Luzon News Center | Nelson Bolos
Paniqui, Tarlac - Thus, said PSupt Joel Mendoza as he described the killing of a drug pusher in Barangay Abogado.
In his report to Tarlac Police Director PSSupt Ritchie Posadas, Mendoza identified the slain “top drug personality” as Richard Fernandez (AKA Reggie), 38.
“Pag-abot niya (Fernandez) ng shabu at dadakmain na sana siya ng poseur buyer, binaril niya agad ito. Buti na lang naka-ilag ang pulis ko. ”, said Mendoza, this town’s police chief.
Fernandez is listed among this town’s Top 10 Drug Personalities.
A source said Fernandez went into hiding for months when the “intensified anti-illegal drugs operation was launched” but recently returned here and continued his selling of shabu and marijuana.
Mendoza said the entrapment happened right inside the house of Fernandez.
The police of this town hugged the news recently when an Aglipayan priest belonging to a faction of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) was arrested here also for peddling shabu.
Randy Valdez, officiating priest of the Philippine Independent Catholic Church (PICC) in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, along with Mike Raven Quinto of Barangay Poblacion Sur here, and Camille Franilla, 23, of Barangay Poblacion Norte, also from this town, were nabbed in buy-bust operation last week.
“Alam na ng mga pusher ngayon na seryoso ang kampanya namin laban sa droga, kaya handa silang pumatay at mamatay. Na-tokhang na siya noon pero hindi siya nagbago”, also said Mendoza.
An unmarked cal. .38 pistol, 10 sachets of marijuana and a sachet of shabu were recovered from Fernandez.

August 21 2017 is Ninoy Aquino Day #NationalHoliday
ADVERTISEMENT
The country will commemorate the 34th death anniversary of the late former Senator and democracy fighter Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. this August 21, which this year falls on a Monday.
It is a non-working holiday nationwide as stipulated in Republic Act (RA) 9256, which then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed in 2004. Access RA 9256 in this link.
Former President Benigno Aquino III, Ninoy’s only son, referenced this law in his Proclamation 1105, which listed all the regular and special holidays for 2017.
Some may be asking if it is possible for President Rodrigo Duterte to move the holiday to August 22 to give Filipinos a long weekend, a practice initiated by Arroyo but discontinued by Aquino. That is not likely due to Duterte’s political ties to the Marcos family, the Cojuangco-Aquino clan’s mortal enemy. Also, keep in mind the President’s general aversion to disruptive public occasions (one reason why June 30, his Inauguration day, wasn’t declared a holiday).

One among the 3 fleeing gunmen was killed in a shoot-out with the police while one was arrested. The 3rd suspect was able to escape by running through the thick bush.
The gunmen were about to exit this town when they were cornered by police operatives at Barangay Alfonso some 10 kilometers away at around 11 AM on board a white Hi Ace van (ADJ 2035).
According to PSupt Miguel Guzman, newly assigned police OIC of this town, the slain fleeing gunman was Bernard Nucup y Cruz, 21, of Barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga, and the arrested “murder suspect” was Hernan Galang y Miclat, of Brgy. Mabato-bato, Magalang, Pampanga.
In his report to Tarlac Police Provincial Director PSSupt Ritchie Posada, Guzman said the 3 were involved in the “cold blooded shooting to death” of Jaime Baquing, 58, and his son Chody Baquing, 36, both of Barangay San Nicolas Balas, here, and the wounding of Rustico Sevilla, 76, of Brgy Telebangca, and Marcelo Marcelo, 63, of Brgy, Luisa, Magalang, at the Baquing residence.
Guzman also revealed that at around 11 Am, the 3 gunmen on board the Hi Ace Van were about to be flagged down in Barangay Alfonso when one among them shot at the policemen manning the checkpoint.
After a brief gunfight, Nucup was critically hit and Galang was nabbed but their companion was able to run away.
Nucup and Galang were positively identified by several witnesses, including the sons of Jaime Baquing who saw them enter the house of the Baquings and “mercilessly murdered” their 2 victims and critically wounding 2 others.

This was what happened when 2 friends “riding in tandem” bumped a parked truck along the Mac Arthur at Barangay San Julian Moncada, Tarlac last Monday which resulted in the death of the driver and the back rider critically injured.

Reyes owns the motorcycle but, allegedly, let his friend Nonog to drive though he has no driver’s license.

IFI BISHOP DISOWNS ARRESTED 'ADDICT' PRIEST
ADVERTISEMENT
Drug addicts are liars.
By: Central Luzon News Center | Nelson Bolos
This came when the Bishop of Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) declared that arrested “Aglipayan church priest" Randy Valdez is not a member of the IFI.
Valdez, along with 2 others (Camille Franilla and Mike Raven Quinto), were arrested last Saturday in a buy bust operation by this town’s police led by PSupt Joel Mendoza.
In an interview upon his arrest, Valdez, who he is a native of this town, claimed he is a priest of the Aglipayan church and is the “destined priest” of the IFI church in the municipality of Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija.
However, Bishop Dindo Ranojo, Diocesan Bishop of IFI Diocese of Tarlac, said, “Randy is not and has never been a member of IFI. Before I became a Bishop, I have worked in our national office and I did not encounter his name”.
“I do not even know if he is really a priest. He did not study at our schools”, added Ranojo.
The news on Valdez’s apprehension, “Priest, 2 others arrested for shabu”, trended in social media since it was posted here yesterday morning and many among IFI members commented negatively on his (Valdez) claim of being an IFI priest.
As of 10:23 PM today, the Valdez news has reached 79,155 views.
In a second interview this morning (August 9), Valdez admitted that he belongs to the Philippine Independent Catholic Church (PICC) and not with the IFI.
Ranojo also disclosed that Valdez belongs to one of the several “factions” of their church.
“Valdez is a member of the PICC. He does not belong to the mainstream (Aglipayan church). Their group (illegally) occupied some of our churches”, also said Ranojo who, as bishop, is the head of the IFI in the province of Tarlac.
The founding of the IFI dates back during the Filipino uprising against the Spanish rule. It was born when Filipino revolutionary priest Gregorio Aglipay, the acknowledged founder of the church, and some other Filipino priests, disassociated from Spanish-led catholic church then.
Hence, IFI was more commonly known as Aglipayan in deference to Fr. Gregorio Aglipay who is the church’s first Obispo Maximo (Supreme Bishop).
IFI was formally founded in 1902.
Pressed for comment, Valdez begged not to further “make an issue on his claim that he is an IFI priest but said, “huwag na po sanang palakihin pa ang issue, kasi matagal na po akong nag-resign sa IFI”.
On this issue, Ranojo said, “hindi totoong nagresign si Randy (Valdez) sa IFI dahil hindi namin siya naging member. IFI is a world-wide church with more than 6 million members and is recognized by the Council of World Churches. We have no priest involved in drugs”.
Mendoza also revealed that Valdez’s claim of being an Aglipayan priest was validated with Cayupo chief of police, PSInsp Abraham Atencio.
“Before we wrote it on our (police) report that Valdez is a priest of the Aglipayan church, we validated his allegation with the chief of police of Cuyapo. Atencio confirmed that he (Valdez) regularly officiates masses in their church and also said that he (Valdez) is peddling illegal drugs and uses the back of their church in his dealing of shabu”.
It was also confirmed that the church of Valdez in Cuyapo town is not among the churches of IFI but of the PICC.

Sa mga tita tito ako tumitira. My mom worked at Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Lebanon and ngayon po nasa Saudi sya tapos mama ko na meet father ko sa Malaysia." Maxwell said.
Maxwell has no siblings, despite for being broken family, he always put himself into the positive side.

An addict priest?
By: Central Luzon News Center | Nelson Bolos
This came as a priest, along with 2 others, were arrested in a buy bust operation at Barangay Poblacion Norte in Paniqui, Tarlac.
In his report, PSupt Joel Mendoza identified those arrested as Randy Valdez, 35, of District 1, Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Mike Raven Quinto y Puyaoan, 20, of Barangay Poblacion Sur, and Camille Franilla, 23, of Barangay Poblacion Norte, here.
Valdez, who is a native of this town, is the destined priest of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI), more commonly known as the Aglipayan Church, in Cuyapo town.
“When we accosted Valdez along with the 2 other suspects, I thought he (Valdez) was joking, or either high on drugs, when he introduced himself as a priest. But it turned out to be true, he is a priest of the Aglipayan church ”, Mendoza said.
Mendoza also said, “the target of our entrapment were Camille (Franilla) and Quinto who are both on our Municipal Watchlist of Drug Personalities. It was Camille who received the P500 marked money from my policeman poseur buyer but it was this person (Valdez) who handed the 2 plastic sachets of shabu. That’s why we arrested them”.
The 20-year old Quinto, whose maternal name is Puyaoan his 3 kins of which are known to be actively involved in illegal drugs, yielded 5 plastic sachets of shabu.
While the 23-year old Camille disclosed that she already has 5 children and that it was her second time to be arrested for illegal drugs. Camille admitted that she is the common law wife of Jojo Salvador who was killed in a bungled police buy-bust 2 years.
Sought for comment, Valdez said, “Nagsimula akong gumamit (ng shabu) bago pa ako pumasok sa pagpapari. (Mula noon) hindi ko (na) mapigil ang sarili ko na gumamit (ng shabu)”.
Valdez also disclosed that priesthood of the Aglipayan church takes 5 to 8 years studies depending on the course chosen.
He, however, refused to comment on how his “flock” of Aglipayan church members will react upon knowing that their priest is using illegal drugs.
“Talagang ang paggamit ng shabu ay nakakasira ng isip at pagkatao. Pati paniniwala sa Diyos mawawala”, also said Mendoza.
“ Being a priest, Valdez can fall under the category of “newly discovered High Value Target (HVT)”, Mendoza added.
