Municipality of CAPAS - awarded 1st PLACE in the BELENISMO In TARLAC Belen Making Contest (Municipal Category) on December 08, 2017.

Last year, Municipality of Capas got the 2 place for Municipal Category for belen making. This year's awarding, Capas, Tarlac takes the grand prize.

Carabao poop and Tanapa trays is the main recycled materials of humongous windmill stuff and the holy family in the center. Tourists are attracted on it's unique, simple and creative stuff made by Capasenyo's.

Held at College of the Holy Spirit the awarding night on December 08, 2017.

BREAKING: Bus Accident In Capas, Tarlac

Isa ang patay sa salpukan ng isang bus at motorsiklo na may kargadong Coco Lumber sa Brgy. Dolores Capas, Tarlac ngayong hapon.

Ayon sa mga nakasaksi kinaladkad ng Viron Transit (8350) ang ang isang motor matapos nitong mahagip sa mismong terminal ng bus. Dead on arrival ang ang di pa matukoy na biktima nang dalhin ito sa pinakamalapit na ospital.

Nahuli naman ang driver ng bus na hindi pa pinapangalanan ng mga polisya. Patuloy na iniimbistigahan ang buong pangyayari at hinahanda na ang pagsampang kaso.

Aside from "The Melting Pot Festival", Did you know? Tarlac is also dubbed as  "BELENISMO CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES" by Department of Tourism.

It's a yearly Province-wide Festival that has brought together communities to craft their very own "Belen" designs, usually humongous ones from recycled materials. It is a tourism inspired activity to create livelihood projects from nativity art work! Not only it is picturesque scene, but it also remind us the origin and nativity of our savior Jesus Christ.

Municipality of Capas got 2nd placed last 9th Belenismo In Tarlac. In this year's entry of Capas is a Windmill inspired made from Carabao Poop and Tinapa Tray. Truly, tarlakenyos has a talent for making unique and amazing stuffs!

A Person feet were cut off in "Self Accident" in Capas, Tarlac

Two people were injured in self accident in Capas, Tarlac in front of Dominican College of Tarlac yesterday, the injuries are unidentified as of now.

The driver of motorcycle along the Mc Arthur Highway slammed into the center road.

The victims are now in Provincial Hospital.

Authorities are investigating the incident and review the CCTV footage for the real reason of the accident.

Angel Locsin spotted filming "La Luna Sangre" In Capas Tarlac

This a little over a month after it was confirmed that she would no longer play the iconic role of Darna for a film adaptation due to a spinal injury.

Photos of the actress on the set of "La Luna Sangre," the latest installment of the "Lobo" fantasy franchise, have begun circulating on Instagram. Sporting her short hair, a result of a salon mishap, she was seen in a casual shirt and joggers.

Locsin was joined by John Lloyd Cruz, her co-star in the first sequel to "Lobo," "Imortal."

Not much is known about their roles as details about the series remain scarce. But Locsin has already expressed her excitement in working with Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, the lead stars of "La Luna Sangre."

"Nagawa ko na 'yung project before sa 'Lobo' and 'Imortal' and ngayon, ipapasa ko ulit 'yung legacy. I am very excited na maging part din ako noon," she said.

Apart from a brief hosting stint on "It's Showtime," this is Locsin's first project for television since it was announced that she will be leaving the planned Darna movie by Star Cinema.

A teaser for "La Luna Sangre" was released last month, showing Padilla and Bernardo as their characters try to kill each other. The series is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and is scheduled to air this year.

An unidentified man was killed after a bus accidentally ran over him when he fell off his motorcycle along Mc Arthur Highway Cutcut II, Capas, Tarlac (Good Friday, April 14, 2017) around 5:00 pm.

The man died on the spot.


Initial investigation revealed the man was trying to get past to another motorcycle but the driver would not let him and even drove the vehicle close to the victim, making him lose his balance and fall right in a bus.

Authorities are currently hunting down the bus driver, who escaped after the road mishap.
