CIDG nabs ex US army, brother for guns, ammos

By Nelson Bolos

Gerona, Tarlac - - A former United States army and his brother were arrested here last Wednesday by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at Barangay Dicolor.

In his report PCInsp Jerrold Jake Manguerra identified those arrested as brothers Leslie Borge Visaya, 44, and Enrique Borge Visaya, 31, both of Barangay Dicolor.

Their respective houses were raided by virtue of 2 Search Warrants issued by Judge Ronald Leo Haban of the Tarlac Regional Trial Court Branch 66.

A fully loaded Llama caliber .45 pistol was seized from Leslie’s house, while a Colt 1911 caliber .45 gun with 9 bullets was confiscated from the house Enrique.

According to Manguerra, the Visayas were made subject of police operation after receiving several reports of their possessing high powered pistols.

Last month, a kin of the Visaya brothers, Bernard Visaya, who is the Barangay Chairman of Dicolor, was shot dead by motorcycle riding criminals right in front of the barangay hall in a daring early morning ambush.

Sought for comment, Manguerra, the newly assigned Tarlac CIDG Provincial Officer said, “One of our primary mandate is to eliminate the proliferation of firearms to deter criminality. We shall remain very serious in apprehending persons possessing unlicensed firearms who ever they are”.

Manguerra belongs to the Philippine National Police Academy batch 2006.
The Visaya brothers were charged of violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunitions Act.

Being determined, focused, fearless and goal-oriented are just some of the personality traits that best describe her. These traits give her strength and optimistic view of what a Pilot Beauty Queen wants to be in the future. But aside from these, being humble and low-profile is always in her list.

She's still remember, when she was still a kid, she used to watch beauty pageants- not to mention. She's dressing up herself the way candidates dress themselves. So, when she had the opportunity to join Binibining Pilipinas (A national beauty pageant in the Philippines that selects Filipina representatives to compete in two of the Big Four major international beauty pageants such as Miss Universe and Miss International). She wholeheartedly grab it.

In line with her dream of being a beauty queen, she aspire to become a pilot. Yes, she's a graduate of AB English but her 22 years of existence will never stop there. She did enter at Alpha Aviation to become a pilot and now,  through Gods grace, the simple Nelda C. Ibe people knew already passed and got certificate for a solo flight. Her dream to become a #PilotBeautyQueen will be her trademark a dream that still bleeds into whatever she do today.

Her motto in in life is  "Do not let yourself be forced into doing anything before you are ready." -Wilbur Wright. She patterned her life with this simple yet meaningful quotation. Now she can say, "I'm ready to do both- to become a PilotBeautyQueen."

Goshen Hotel and Resort -  you can get a taste of Colosseum (also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city in Rome, Italy. Built of concrete and sand, it is the largest amphitheatre ever built.)  just in Bamban, Tarlac.  With Colosseum on the bucket lists of many, what would it feel like if you got a slice of that even for an overnight weekend at lesser cost?

You don’t have to spend a lot to get that. Situated in Brgy, Lourdes the unassuming facade opens up to a refreshing experience.  Bamban is most commonly known for Our Lady of Lourdes Pilgrims.

And when I say the European ambiance there is amazing… it's really A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The rooms are really nice and so are the bathrooms.  If you’re looking to stay in the whole weekend, the rooms are perfect for relaxing too.

What you would like the most when you look outside the windows you can get a view like this.

Definitely a place to relax this summer! The pool and accommodations are well setup and maintained for a refreshing Europe-ish experience.
